Irrigation frequency varies in Bhindi with season and soil type. The crop is irrigated at an interval of 4 to 5 days in summer. In rainy season irrigation is not required in general. Moisture stress at the time of fruit setting reduces fruit quality & yield. A light irrigation is given soon after seed sowing for good germination.
