First of all, I would like to thank all our farmers, trade partners, colleagues and well-wishers for being with us in every aspect in a very crucial year.

The second wave of Corona is on now and I pray to the Almighty for a healthy life for everybody. Already scientists have gifted us our lifelines by offering vaccines of Corona Virus. It is indeed an awesome job to come up with a vaccine within a short period of time!

Coming to Agriculture, last quarter was not very good for the farming community. Very low price of most of the vegetable crops including Potato, Carrot, Tomato, Cauliflower, Cabbage – has demoralized the sentiments of the farmers in a great way. Shortage of water and lack of rainfall is also Cash flow in the market is obviously very tight.

Corporate Wing of Ramnagar Seed Farm Pvt. Ltd has achieved 150% of its target and we thank and appreciate all our colleagues for their contribution.

Dr Nadiram Saha has joined us as Vice President – R&D and he will Head our R&D. Dr Saha has given excellent hybrids in paddy in every company he has worked with. His last assignment was with JK Agri Genetics Ltd as Principal Breeder – Rice.

I am happy to share you that our Legal Department is functioning fully with 2 most experienced senior advocates of District Court and Kolkata High Court.

We organized our First Annual Corporate Conference in Digha in February ‘21, where we spent 3 full days to interact and understand each other.

Present sentiment of paddy is not very well as paddy price is nose-diving everyday! Overall scenario in Agriculture is not good at all. India is carrying surplus inventory of Paddy already and arrival of boro paddy will add extra pain in that!
