Monsoon was not up to the mark and there was shrinkage of sowing of paddy due to scanty rainfall. Climatologists are naming this as El- Nino effect. The El- Nino has affected badly Indian Agriculture this year. Industry has experienced an all time high sales return due to tune of 40-50%. Hy paddy segment was a worst hit. OPV paddy market size was somehow maintained.

In most of the areas in West Bengal, farmers used FSS. In Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh where farmers do not use FSS, we have been able to sell in those markets. Odisha was a worst hit. There was no monsoon rain particularly in Bargarh area.

We have started new corporate operation in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh states. I thank all team members for achieving their sales budget in this very challenging situation. I also thank our trade partners for their whole hearted cooperation to promote and sell our products in their area.

I wish you all very happy times ahead.

Happy Sharadiya and Happy Diwali !!

Warm Regards,
