Second Quarter was really challenging to agri-input sector this year, as continuous rainfall in Eastern States had greatly affected vegetable sowing. Almost all vegetable crop seeds have been affected. Tomato, Cole Crops, Gourds, Green Peas, Coriander, Palak, Radish – all vegetable seed sales have been at below last year sales number for most of the companies. Money flow was also affected greatly as farmer did not encash his produce properly.
We organized 6 Dealers’ Meet at North Bengal where we discussed regarding our products thoroughly.
We have grown by 100% of our last year volume inspite of such downward trend of sales in most of the crops, mostly because of our meticulous planning and hardwork of our team members.
We have been able to collect 100% of our Kharif supply by September’21. This has been possible due to great teamwork.
We have shifted our focus from field crops to vegetable crops as this is a round the year business and money flow remains well balanced with vegetable portfolio.
Threat of new corona variant ‘Omicron’ is knocking at the door. We pray to our Devi Durga to bless the mankind for a healthy and happy life!!
Warm Regards,
